When should we believe what God says?

We should believe what God says when He says it, and not until. When He speaks, that is the moment we must believe. Before He says something, we are not required to believe it; once He has said it, we must believe.

Les explains that in every aspect of how God deals with us, when He says something, that is when we have to believe it and not until. He illustrates this with Moses' parents: by faith they hid Moses because they saw with spiritual eyes that what God had promised, God would fulfill. They knew that what God had said, God would do. The Hebrew midwives also feared God, and God dealt well with them. Nothing happens by accident; all is sovereignly unfolding as God has commanded.
