What happens at the midpoint of the tribulation when the Antichrist goes to Jerusalem?

Les teaches that many events occur at the midpoint of the tribulation. The Antichrist comes from his headquarters, which Les thinks will be in Europe, to Jerusalem. At that same moment, Satan is cast out of heaven and indwells this man Antichrist, controlling him, much like Satan entered Judas. When Satan in the man Antichrist sees the escaping group of Jews, probably quite a few thousand, he sends water as a flood after the woman, or the escaping Israelites, to destroy them, just as Pharaoh sent an army after the escaping Jews from Egypt. But these Jews are under God's sovereign, mandated protection, and He will feed and protect them throughout the final three and a half years.
