What will the Antichrist do at the midpoint of the Tribulation?
At the midpoint of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will move into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and set himself up as God. He will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God, take absolute control, stop allowing world religion to have any part with him, and sit in the temple of God.
Les explains from 2 Thessalonians 2:4 that the pronoun “who” refers to the man of sin, the Antichrist, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or worshiped, so that he as God sits in the temple of God. Les teaches that at the midpoint of the Tribulation this man will move into the temple in Jerusalem and defy it.
