Who will flee from Jerusalem during the last days or the last half of the tribulation?
During the last days or last half of the tribulation, a group of Jews will flee from Jerusalem. Revelation 12:6 describes the woman, Israel, fleeing into the wilderness to a place God prepared, where she is fed 1,260 days. They will go to mountains southeast of Jerusalem, possibly Moab or Petra.
Les explains that this group of Jews at the last days or the last half of the tribulation period will be fleeing away from Jerusalem to a place God will lead them out in the mountains. He suggests it might be Moab, possibly the city of Petra, but at least somewhere in the mountains southeast of Jerusalem. He ties this to Revelation chapter 12, verse 6, where the woman, Israel, fled into the wilderness to a place prepared by God, and the Godhead feeds her there for a thousand two hundred and sixty days. Les then asks who these Jews are and directs us back to Matthew 24, verse 15, to continue the study.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
