Where will Jews flee from during the tribulation?
During the last half of the tribulation, a group of Jews will flee from Jerusalem. They will escape to a place God prepares for them in the mountains, likely in the region of Moab or possibly the city of Petra, located southeast of Jerusalem. Revelation 12 depicts Israel as a woman fleeing into the wilderness.
Les teaches that during the last days or the last half of the tribulation period, a group of Jews will be fleeing away from Jerusalem. They will go to a place that God will lead them out in the mountains. Les thinks of Moab, or possibly the city of Petra, but at least it will be someplace out in the mountains southeast of Jerusalem. He connects this to Revelation chapter 12, verse 6, where the woman, representing Israel, fled into the wilderness to a place prepared of God, where she is fed for 1,260 days. Les also brings in Matthew 24, verse 15, to tie these events together.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
