What happened to Israel in about 70 A.D.?

In about 70 A.D., the nation of Israel lost the Temple and the city, lost their homeland, and were dispersed into every nation on earth. This dispersion followed their rejection of the Messiah, placing them in spiritual blindness alongside the Gentile world.

Les explains that the nation of Israel, having been instructed and nurtured through the Old Testament under the Law and the prophecies, rejected him and was dispersed back into the main stream of humanity from which they were called. In about 70 A.D., they lost the Temple, the city, and their homeland, and were dispersed into every nation on earth. This was not to evangelize them as God had intended, but to put them in a place of spiritual blindness, making them the same position as the rest of the Gentile world. Some 30 years before, Paul was called to be the progenitor of the Gospel of Grace.
