What will Jesus do to our bodies at the resurrection?

At the resurrection, the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, will change our vile body—the one prone to sin, death, and disease—and fashion it like unto His glorious body. This transformation comes according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself, as Philippians 3:20–21 states.

Les explains from Philippians 3:20-21 that our conversation, or citizenship, is in Heaven, and from that same Heaven where the Lord is now waiting, we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He shall change our vile body, this one prone to sin and death and disease, and fashion it like unto His glorious body. This change is according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. Les also points out that Paul lays out the resurrection questions clearly, and that Abraham had the concept that God would resurrect Isaac if he were offered.

Philippians 3:21

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
