What will Christ do to our body at the resurrection?
At the resurrection, Christ will change our vile, corrupt, death-prone body and fashion it like unto His glorious body. He will make it in the same likeness as His resurrected body—able to eat, pass through walls, travel at the speed of light, and go from here to glory in a split second.
Les explains from Philippians 3:21 that the Lord Jesus Christ shall change our vile body—corrupt and prone to death, disease, and suffering—so it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body. Les teaches that we will be made in the same likeness as Christ's resurrected body. As evidence, he points out that Jesus sat down with the disciples and ate fish and honeycomb, yet He was in that eternal state where He went right through the wall and ceiling. Les says He can travel at the speed of light, and so will we; going from here to glory will take no time, almost a split second. This change is according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.
