Why will God recreate the universe and create it all new?
God will recreate the universe because everything in it has been tainted by the old devil himself. Since heaven, earth, and all created things have been corrupted by the devil, God will bring them back to a nothingness and create them anew, making the new creation more glorious than ever before.
Les explains that in eternity it is going to be a whole new ballgame. He teaches that the whole universe is going to be brought back to its origin. Everything that has ever been created, heaven and earth, will be brought back to a nothingness and recreated more glorious than ever before. The reason is that everything in the universe has been tainted by the old devil himself, so God is going to create it all new. Les also notes that as members of the Body of Christ, believers will not be part of Israel, which will enjoy its earthly domain on the new earth, but will be a heavenly people who rule and reign in this whole new universe and have places of responsibility out there. In the eternal state there is no time, and distance means nothing.
