Why does God make everything new in eternity?
God makes all things new so that nothing remains tainted by sin—whether satanic or human. The former curse, death, sorrow, crying, and pain are passed away, and He dwells personally with His people. This renewal removes every trace of the old fallen order and establishes the eternal state where God Himself is with them.
Les teaches that God makes everything new because the former things—death, sorrow, crying, pain, and the curse tied to this earth—must be passed away. In eternity, the tabernacle of God is with men; God Himself will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. He will not be far off, taken only by faith, but present personally, so that each of the billions of inhabitants knows God as personally as an earthly parent. Revelation 21:5 declares, “Behold, I make all things new, even the heavens.” Everything is made new so that nothing can have been tainted by sin, whether satanic or human. The words are true and faithful, and the One who says “I am Alpha and Omega,” Christ, is the beginning and the end.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
