Is God finished with the nation of Israel according to Romans 11?

No. Romans 11 teaches that God is not through with the nation of Israel. Israel’s blindness is only in part and temporary, until the fullness of the Gentiles is brought in. God will yet return to Israel and fulfill everything He promised to that nation.

Les teaches that Romans 11 is the great chapter where Paul makes it certain God is not through with the nation of Israel. Although much literature tries to say He is finished, the book says He will return one day and fulfill everything He promised to Israel. Les explains the mystery or secret revealed to Paul: Israel’s blindness is in part, not forever, and has continued until the fullness of the Gentiles be brought in. The Old Testament understood God would save Gentiles, but had no idea it would be without Israel; Israel was to become the obedient kingdom of priests and evangelize the Gentiles.

Romans 11:25

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
