Does Romans 11:25 teach that God is finished with the nation of Israel?

No. Romans 11:25 presents Israel's blindness as partial and temporary, lasting only until the fullness of the Gentiles is brought in. Paul uses this mystery to show God is not through with the nation; He will yet return and fulfill everything He promised to Israel.

Les teaches that Romans 11 is the great chapter where Paul makes it certain God is not through with the nation of Israel. Although much literature tries to say He is finished, the book says He is still going to return one day, and soon, and fulfill everything promised to Israel. The mystery, or secret, revealed to this apostle is that blindness in part—not forever—has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be brought in. The Old Testament understood God would save Gentiles, but not that it would be without Israel; the whole idea in Isaiah and other prophecies was that once Israel became the obedient vehicle, a kingdom of priests, Israel would evangelize the Gentiles.

Romans 11:25

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
