What does Romans 11 prove about whether God is done with Israel?

Romans 11 establishes that God is not through with the nation of Israel. Although Israel was set aside for many years without temple, priesthood, sacrifice, or homeland, God remains faithful to His covenant people and will one day return to pick up where He left off with them.

Les explains that Romans 11 makes it plain, by inspiration, that God is not through with the nation of Israel. Israel has been set aside for the last 1900 and some years, without the temple, without a priesthood, without a sacrifice, and without a homeland until our generation. Yet God is not through with His covenant people. The grafting process shows Israel was removed and her branches broken off, while the Gentiles were placed over the root of father Abraham. Gentiles have had the blessing of the gospel and the opportunity for salvation, but their day is fast coming to a close. Les says God's grace and patience will one day soon run out, and He will go back and pick up where He left off with Israel. Paul writes in Romans 11:25 to believers, warning them not to be ignorant, because ignorance is not lack of intelligence but a lack of having been taught something.
