Are Christians under the law or led by the Holy Spirit?

Christians are not under a mandate of law, rules, or regulations; they respond as the Holy Spirit leads them in service, testimony, and everything. Paul urges believers to present their bodies as wholly acceptable to God, which is their reasonable service, freely choosing not to be molded by the world.

Les teaches that Paul's plea is by the mercies of God: believers present their bodies, not their soul, as wholly acceptable unto God, which is their reasonable, logical, practical service. He explains that this is not a mandate of law or rules and regulations, but a response as the Holy Spirit leads in life, service, testimony, and everything. It is of their own free will, not forced. Les contrasts being conformed with being transformed: the world, under the wicked one, has a mold ready, so believers must not be poured into Satan's mold or molded according to this old world. As they come away from the world system, they become marked people whom the world recognizes.
