Are Christians today under the Law or under grace?

Christians today are not under the Law as Christ ministered it to Israel; they are under Grace, and that distinction makes all the difference. Paul writes to the believer, never to the unsaved world, declaring that God has forgiven all trespasses through His grace, having quickened those dead in sins together with Him.

Les teaches that the believer is not under the Law as Christ ministered to Israel, but is under Grace, and that this is all the difference in the world. He points out that Paul always writes to the Believer and never to the unsaved world. Writing to the believer in Colossians chapter 2, verse 13, Paul says, "...and you being dead in your sins, and the uncircumcision of your flesh Gentiles, he hath quickened together with him, having forgiven you all your trespasses." Les also illustrates the practical outworking of grace: because God graciously forgave us right where we were as condemned sinners, we are not to drudgeingly say "yes I forgive you so that I can be forgiven," but rather recognize that we are already forgiven. If Christ could forgive us who were most unworthy, only because of His grace, then we can certainly forgive others, since they have not done against us what we had done against God.
