Are Christians under the Law or under Grace according to Paul?

According to Paul, Christians are not under Law but under Grace. Under Law, a person could not be forgiven until they had forgiven others. But Grace teaches that God forgave us regardless of whether we forgave our neighbor, as Ephesians 4:32 shows.

Les explains that under Law, forgiveness was conditional: you could not be forgiven until you had forgiven the other person. That is what the Law demanded, and that is what the religious gentleman in the context understood. But Paul, the Apostle of Grace, wrote in Romans that believers are not under Law but under Grace. In Ephesians 4:32, Grace says that God forgave us whether or not we forgave our neighbor. So the believer's standing is under Grace, not Law.
