How does Christ, the second man, undo Adam's condemnation?

Christ, the second man, reverses Adam's condemnation by serving as a life-giving spirit. Where Adam's disobedience plunged all humanity into condemnation, Christ makes it possible for every degenerate son of Adam to become a regenerate son of God. He quickens those dead in trespasses and sin, making them alive.

Les explains that Adam, as the federal head of the whole human race, plunged everyone into condemnation through his simple act of disobedience. Every human being, beginning with Cain, has been a fallen creature because of Adam's rebellion. But God did not leave it there. He comes with the second man, the Christ, making it possible for every degenerate son of Adam to become a regenerate son of God. Les points to 1 Corinthians 15:45, where the first man Adam was made a living soul, but the last Adam, Jesus the Christ, is a quickening spirit. Quickening means life-giving. Les connects this to Ephesians 2:1, where those dead in trespasses and sin are quickened, made alive.
