Les Feldick Bible Study

What is the soul composed of according to Les?

The soul is composed of the mind, the will, and the emotion. These three components form the personality. In Adam's original creation, they were in perfect agreement with the Creator, but after sin, the whole personality became a sin nature bent toward sinning.

Les explains that when Adam was created, he had a body, a soul, and a spirit. The soul made up his personality and consisted of the mind, the will, and the emotion, all in perfect agreement with the Creator. His spirit had fellowship with God, and his body was without sin. When Adam sinned, the whole personality became what Paul calls a sin nature, bent to sinning. Communication with God became dormant—not annihilated, but like a car battery run dead when the lights are left on overnight.
