What is the soul, and what three parts make it up?
The soul is the personality—the real you and real I—dwelling temporarily in the body. It is made up of three parts: the mind, the will, and the emotions. These three components together make the person function and click, distinguishing the inner self from the outer shell of the five senses.
Les explains that the outer shell of our make-up is the body, which operates through the five senses and is merely the temporary dwelling place for the next part—the soul. He refers to the soul as the personality, the real you and the real I. The soul, he says, is made up, forwards and backwards, of three parts: the mind, the will, and the emotions. These three are what really make us click. He also notes that this teaching on the circles has helped clarify how someone can be under the control of the old Adamic nature and realize their need, as illustrated by the man at a seminar who opposed the tapes but then saw his problem.
