Les Feldick Bible Study

What is the soul and what is it made up of?

The soul is the inner part of a person’s makeup, identified as the personality and the real you and real I, temporarily housed in the body. It is made up of three components—the mind, the will, and the emotions—which together make us function.

Les explains that the outer shell of our make-up is the body, which is just the exercise of the five senses and merely the temporary dwelling place for the next part, the soul. He usually refers to the soul as the personality—the real you and the real I. The soul is made up, forwards and backwards, of the mind, the will, and the emotions, and that is what really makes us click.
