Where did Jesus go after leaving the Mount of Olives?

After leaving the Mount of Olives, Jesus went back up to God the Father and sat down at the right hand of the Father on high. This ascension is described in Acts chapter 1, completing the sequence of His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension before the Church Age.

Les explains that in Acts chapter 1, when Jesus left from the Mount of Olives, He went back up to God the Father and sat down at the right hand of the Father on high. This fits the broader timeline he traces: the birth of Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, His Ascension, then the Church Age, and finally the time for Him to enter into human affairs and rule and reign. The Mount of Olives departure marks His return to the Father's right hand.
