What happened when Jesus left the Mount of Olives?

He ascended back to God the Father and sat down at the right hand of the Father on high. This event, His Ascension, followed His death, burial, and resurrection, and it concluded His earthly ministry before the Church Age began.

Les explains that in Acts chapter 1, when Jesus left the Mount of Olives, He went back up to God the Father and sat down at the right hand of the Father on high. This ascension followed His birth, death, burial, and resurrection. After the Church Age, He will enter into human affairs to rule and reign. The context also notes that at the midpoint of the Tribulation, the woman (Israel) will flee into the wilderness for three and a half years, where God will prepare a place and provide miraculously, as He did for Israel in the Exodus.
