Why did Adam lose dominion over creation?

Adam lost dominion over creation because he sinned and became disobedient to God. He originally had dominion and was to care for God's creation, but his disobedience caused him to forfeit that authority. Consequently, Satan picked up the dominion Adam dropped and placed the planet under his control.

Les teaches that Adam had dominion way back in Genesis 1 and then lost it when he sinned and was disobedient. Adam was to have taken care of all of God's creation. When Adam dropped that dominion, Satan picked it up, becoming the mortgage holder who placed the whole planet under his control. That mortgage is what God will pay off in full through the judgments and events of the seven years of tribulation, bringing the world to a delivery from the curse, which Jesus calls the beginning of travail.
