Is En Gedi still a real village on the shores of the Dead Sea today?

Yes. En Gedi is described as still there, right on the shores of the Dead Sea. It is called a very little village, and it is presented as a real, existing place on the Dead Sea today, not merely an ancient site or prophetic symbol.

Les explains that Ezekiel 47 speaks in prophecy and symbolism of a river coming from underneath the sanctuary at Jerusalem. When the Kingdom is set up and Christ has returned, verse 10 says fishermen will stand on the Dead Sea from En Gedi onward. Les notes that En Gedi is still a very little village right on the Dead Sea’s shores, and prophetically fishermen will stand there because the waters are healed, holding a great multitude of fish. There will be a place to spread nets, and the fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Mediterranean. Les identifies these as physical elements of the coming Kingdom.
