Where is En Gedi today?

Today En Gedi is still a little village located right on the shores of the Dead Sea. In Ezekiel 47 it marks the starting point from which fishermen will stand along the Dead Sea when the Kingdom is set up and Christ has returned.

Les explains that En Gedi is still there, a little village right on the shores of the Dead Sea. In Ezekiel 47, the prophet speaks of a river coming out from underneath the sanctuary in Jerusalem. When the Kingdom is set up and Christ has returned, fishermen will stand upon the Dead Sea from En Gedi all the way to En Eglium. There will be a very great multitude of fish, and the fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the great sea—the Mediterranean. Les notes that when we get to Israel someday, we're going to go to En Gedi, and there will be a place to spread forth nets.
