Who is the Lamb that takes the scroll from the right hand of God in Revelation 5:7?

The Lamb in Revelation 5:7 is Jesus the Christ, also identified as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne. Scripture thus identifies the Lamb as Jesus Christ.

Les explains that verse 7 presents the Lamb, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus the Christ, coming and taking the scroll out of the right hand of him who sat upon the throne. He anticipates the question of why this is pictured as a mortgage or something needing to be paid off, then traces the need back to Genesis 1:28. There God blessed Adam and Eve and commanded them to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, and have dominion. Adam was to rule over creation under God as God's second in command. When Adam sinned, he lost that dominion; Satan picked it up, and Scripture makes clear Satan is the god of this world, with the world lying in the lap of the wicked one.
