Do the ten toes of the European community have a relationship with Israel today?
No. The ten toes of the European community as yet do not have that kind of relationship with the nation of Israel. At present, it is mostly America that is keeping the little nation going, though the Antichrist will later come out of the old Roman Empire.
Les explains that earlier Gentile empires all had Israel connected to them; each included the land of Palestine and the city of Jerusalem. But the iron and clay—the ten toes of the European community—as yet do not have that kind of relationship with Israel. Instead, it is mostly America that is keeping the little nation going. Les also notes that the Antichrist will come out of the geographical area of the old Roman Empire, personally favoring Western Europe though others suggest the Middle East or Mediterranean. He will come in peaceably and with flatteries.
