Les Feldick Bible Study

Does the European community currently have the same kind of relationship with Israel that earlier empires did?

No. Earlier Gentile empires each included the land of Palestine and Jerusalem, and Israel was connected to every one. The European community, pictured by the iron and clay and ten toes, as yet does not have that kind of relationship with the nation of Israel; America is mostly keeping the little nation going.

Les teaches that as these empires came on the scene, they were all Gentile, but in every one Israel was connected, and every one included the land of Palestine and the city of Jerusalem. He notes that the iron and clay, the ten toes of the European community, as yet do not have that kind of relationship with the nation of Israel. It is mostly America that is keeping the little nation going. He also reminds listeners that the Antichrist will come out of the geographical area of the old Roman Empire. Les personally thinks he will come from Western Europe, while others think he may come from the Middle East or the Mediterranean. He points out that Daniel says he will come in peaceably and with flatteries. Looking at Europe’s turmoil, ethnic problems, immigrant problems, political problems, and economic problems, Les suggests that if a man with great charisma should suddenly come on the scene, especially in Europe, it would be significant.
