Where will believers be when Christ sets up the kingdom at His second coming?
Believers will be with Christ when He returns and establishes the kingdom on earth. The Father has already delivered them from darkness and translated them into the kingdom of His dear Son, so at His second coming they will be with Him.
Les teaches that when Christ went back to heaven, the kingdom went with Him into heaven. Scripture presents two entities: Israel, the earthly people of God, and the church, the heavenly people of God. Paul writes to Gentile believers in Colossians, giving thanks to the Father who prepared us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. So if you are a child of God, you are in the kingdom. When Christ comes at His second coming and sets up the kingdom on the earth, believers will be with Him.
