Where will believers reign with Christ?
Scripture teaches that believers who have part in the first resurrection will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Revelation 5 adds that they will reign on the earth with Christ, encompassing believers from Adam through the tribulation and church age saints.
Les explains from Revelation 20:6 that the blessed and holy who have part in the first resurrection include all believers from Adam through the end of the tribulation. They shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him for a thousand years. He notes that Revelation 20:4 might sound like only tribulation people rule and reign, but Scripture must be compared with Scripture. Revelation 5:10 includes all believers, saying they are made kings and priests and shall reign on the earth with Christ. Revelation 19:7-14 pictures the marriage of the Lamb and the armies in heaven following Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen. Les concludes that not only tribulation saints but also church age saints are included in ruling and reigning with Christ for the thousand years.
