Where will believers be when Christ returns and sets up the kingdom on earth?
Believers will be with Christ when He returns and establishes the earthly kingdom. Scripture says the Father has delivered them from darkness and translated them into the kingdom of His dear Son, so at the second coming they will be with Him as He sets up that kingdom.
Les explains that when Christ went back to heaven, the kingdom went with Him into heaven. Paul writes in Colossians 1 that the Father has already delivered believers from the power of darkness and translated them into the kingdom of His dear Son. If you are a child of God, you are already in that kingdom. Therefore, when Christ comes at His second coming and sets up the kingdom on the earth, believers will be with Him; they will be with Him.
