Where is the land of Israel located today according to this teaching?
Today the land of Israel is located strictly between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, extending from a little bit south of Jerusalem up to the southern border of Lebanon. It does not occupy the full territory deeded to Abraham, which reached to the Euphrates.
Les explains that even today, with the Middle East in constant uproar, the land of Israel is strictly between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean, from a little south of Jerusalem to the southern border of Lebanon. He notes that Israel never occupied all the territory God deeded to them. The promise first given to Abraham extended from the wilderness and Lebanon to the great river Euphrates. Under David and Solomon they ventured a little beyond Galilee and the Jordan, but that has been the extent. Les adds he does not care what the United Nations or the European community says.
