Les Feldick Bible Study

What is modern Israel like according to this teaching?

Modern Israel is a vibrant, productive nation since 1948, blossoming from a no-man's land into a land of agriculture, technology, and medical fields. It builds highways and apartment buildings, resembles America in traffic patterns, and is at the forefront of these developments.

Les explains that Israel had been a no man's land for years, but since 1948 it has blossomed into a land of production. He notes they are building highways and apartment buildings, and it is almost like being in America, with traffic patterns much the same as any major city. Les recalls a former class member stationed with an American group in Palestine during World War II who described it as having nothing, saying he could never understand why anyone would want that country. But Les says that is not the case today: it is a vibrant country, producing in agriculture, technology, medical fields, and more, at the forefront of all these things. The Jews have been gathered out of the nations, dwelling in the midst of the land with cattle and goods.
