To whom does the land of Israel belong according to the Bible?

Scripture teaches that the land of Israel belongs to the Jew. God promised Abram, "all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed" forever, meaning time without end. Thus the land was given to the Jew and is theirs forever.

Les explains that after Lot separated from Abram, God told Abram to lift up his eyes and look northward, southward, eastward, and westward from the mountain in Canaan. God promised, "all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed" forever. Les emphasizes that the word "forever" in Scripture means time without end. He stresses that the land of Israel belongs to the Jew and is theirs forever, even though he is not a Jew and has known few Jews; his conviction comes solely from what the Bible says. He also notes that if only world leaders would believe the Word of God, they would recognize this truth.
