Who is baptized into the one Body of Christ?

All believers are baptized into the one Body of Christ, whether Jew or Gentile. That one Body includes people from every background—black or white, East or West, rich or poor, bond or free—and all partake of one Spirit.

Les explains that God has been adding believers, one at a time, to the Body of Christ for about 1900 years, just as cells are added to a baby in the womb until it is complete. He says we are all baptized into that one Body, whether Jew or Gentile, and extends the same truth to black or white, East or West, rich or poor, bond or free. All are made to drink into one Spirit. This Body began, he suggests, in Acts chapter 9 with the conversion of Saul, and it keeps building until the rapture.

1 Corinthians 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
