Why was Paul given such unique revelation as the apostle of the Gentiles?

Paul was given unique revelation as the apostle of the Gentiles because of the three years of revelation and the outpouring of God's grace upon him. This produced truths never heard before in Scripture, revealing the Body of Christ and the Spirit's baptism.

Les explains that Paul's unique revelatory calling came through those three years of revelation and the outpouring of God's grace on him as the apostle of the Gentiles. The truths given to him were something never heard before in Scripture. In the following context, Les connects this to 1 Corinthians 12, where Paul uses the human body as a comparison: the body is one and has many members, and so is Christ, or the Body of Christ. All believers are brought into it and become members without losing their individuality. Les emphasizes that by one Spirit—the Holy Spirit—believers are baptized into the Body of Christ. This is the only true baptism of the Holy Spirit for today, not water baptism, but a work of the Holy Spirit at salvation that places us into the Body of Christ. If a person has this baptism, their name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, and they will be in glory.
