What hope did God give immediately after Adam and Eve fell?
Immediately after the fall, God promised a Redeemer. In Genesis 3:15, speaking to Satan through the serpent, God declared He would put enmity between the serpent's seed and the woman's seed, providing hope for the human race through the promised seed of the woman.
Les explains that Genesis chapter 3 verse 15 records the Lord dealing with the serpent, Satan, after Eve and Adam had fallen. Right away, God comes back with hope for the race, and that hope is the promise of a Redeemer. Les points out that Romans 8 makes this plain. God says He will put enmity between Satan and the woman, and between Satan's seed and the woman's seed, with the implication being the seed of the woman.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
