What hope did God give after Adam and Eve fell in Genesis 3:15?
Immediately after the fall, God gave hope by promising a Redeemer. He told the serpent He would put enmity between him and the woman, and between his seed and her seed, pointing to the woman's seed. This promise provided hope for the race.
Les teaches that in Genesis 3:15, after Eve and Adam had fallen, the Lord was dealing with the serpent, Satan, and immediately came back with hope for the race—the promise of a Redeemer. God says He will put enmity between Satan and the woman, and between Satan's seed and the woman's seed. Les points out that this implies the seed of the woman, which is tied directly to the promised Redeemer.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
