What did Satan say to Jesus when he took him to the pinnacle of the temple?

Satan challenged Jesus, saying, 'If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down,' and taunted, 'If you're who you say you are.' He also cited Scripture: God would give His angels charge concerning Him, bearing Him up lest He dash His foot against a stone.

Les explains that Satan, unsatisfied after the first temptation, had to hit Christ in all three categories. So he took Jesus up into the holy city and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple, the very highest point in Jerusalem. There Satan said, 'If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down,' and quoted that God would give His angels charge concerning Him, bearing Him up lest He dash His foot against a stone. Les notes this is the temptation of the desire of the eye. He illustrates it with how people on a busy sidewalk will stop and look up if someone else does, drawing every eye. Satan was really telling Jesus that if He wanted every eye on Him, He should cast Himself down from that high point and let the crowd see whether angels would really come to help Him escape and bear Him up—what a spectacle that would be.

Matthew 4:6

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
