Les Feldick Bible Study

Does every Gentile being in the place of privilege mean every Gentile will be saved?

No. Being in the Gentile place of privilege means every Gentile has opportunity to hear the Gospel and be saved, but it does not guarantee salvation. Israel's privilege did not make every Jew a believer, and likewise Gentiles will be held responsible if they refuse. That opportunity is universal, not automatic.

Les teaches that the Gentile world now occupies the place of privilege and blessing that Israel enjoyed in the Old Testament. But just as Israel resting on Abraham did not automatically make every Jew a believer—most were not—so the Gentiles' place of privilege does not mean every Gentile will be saved. Every Gentile has an opportunity to hear the Gospel and be saved, and every Gentile will be held responsible at the great white throne if they refuse. When Christ died, He took care of all sins, and every human being has been declared reconciled and pardoned so far as God is concerned, but it is all for nothing until they appropriate it by the kind of simple faith Abraham had. God does not look for someone who knows the Bible from cover to cover or for a primary example of holy living before He can save.
