What is the kingdom God promised to Israel in Exodus 19:6?

Exodus 19:6 promises that Israel shall be unto God a kingdom—specifically the earthly kingdom over which Christ will one day rule. It is the only kingdom Scripture looks forward to, with Israel as the apple of God's eye and the greatest nation when that kingdom comes in.

Les teaches that Exodus 19:6 is where God tells Israel, “you shall be unto me a kingdom.” He stresses, “The kingdom is the kingdom is the kingdom.” That kingdom is the one coming on earth over which Christ will one day rule. It is not only the nation of Israel, but Israel will be the apple of His eye and the greatest nation when that kingdom comes in. Les notes this is the only kingdom Scripture is looking forward to. Just before this, God says Israel will be above all people because He is sovereign, the world is His, and He can do with it as He pleases.

Exodus 19:6

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
