What did God promise Israel if they obeyed His covenants in Exodus 19?

In Exodus 19, God promised Israel that obedience to His covenants would make them a treasure above all other nations, a kingdom of priests, and a holy, set-apart nation. He grounded this promise in His ownership of the earth.

Les teaches that Exodus 19 is more or less prophetic. God told the nation of Israel that if they would be obedient to His covenants, then they could be a treasure above all the other nations of the world, and God could do it because the earth is His. Then in verse 6, which Les calls a benchmark verse, God says Israel would be unto Him a kingdom of priests, a holy nation—a set-apart nation. Les explains that the day would come in the future when every Jew was to have been a priest of God. He notes this was not just for the Levites in tabernacle worship, but was about reaching out to Gentiles. Every Jew was to have been a priest, a go-between.
