What does the Antichrist do to Israel after he defiles the temple?

After defiling the temple, the Antichrist turns on the children of Israel and brings in the awful last three-and-a-half years of the Tribulation. Jesus then warns those in Judea to flee into the mountains when they see this defilement happen.

Les explains that in the middle of the seven-year week, the Antichrist moves down into Jerusalem, enters the temple, and defiles it, probably like Antiochus the Syrian did in the Old Testament. According to Daniel, after defiling the temple, he turns on the children of Israel and brings in the awful last three-and-a-half years of the Tribulation. Jesus tells the twelve that when they see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, those in Judea should flee into the mountains, and those on the housetop should not come down to take anything out.

Daniel 9:27

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Matthew 24:15

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
