Where does the Antichrist come from before he goes to the temple in Jerusalem?

The Antichrist will come from his place, thought to be Western Europe, before he goes down to the temple in Jerusalem. He will defile the temple, turn on the Jews, take away their freedom of worship, and then a remnant of Israel will flee from Jerusalem and Judea.

Les explains that the Antichrist will come from his place, which he thinks is in Western Europe, and he's going to come down to the temple in Jerusalem. He will defile it, turn on the Jew, and take away their freedom of worship. At that same hour, the midpoint of the tribulation, a remnant of Israel will flee from Jerusalem and Judea to the mountains, as Jesus says in Matthew 24:16. This is what Daniel foretold concerning the overspreading of abominations and the desolator, which leads to the trumpet and bowl judgments of Revelation.

Matthew 24:15

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Daniel 9:27

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
