Where will the Jews flee during the tribulation?

During the tribulation, the escaping remnant of Jews will flee on foot to the mountains located south and east of Jerusalem. They will not travel by convoy or helicopter but will walk, providentially protected by God for three and a half years until the tribulation ends.

Les explains that this escaping remnant of Jews will not be taken out by army trucks or helicopters; they will walk. Jesus instructed them to pray their flight would not be on the Sabbath, limiting their walking distance, nor in winter, when the Jordan River is at flood and conditions are miserable. Just as Israel came out of Egypt and God providentially destroyed the pursuing Egyptians, so this remnant coming out of Jerusalem will be providentially escorted and protected. Nothing or no one can touch or harm them for the next three and a half years. They will go somewhere in the mountains south and east of Jerusalem, and God will watch over them until the end of the tribulation.
