What is the purpose of everything God has done for our redemption?
Everything God has done for redemption is so that believers might be to the praise of His glory—not merely to escape hell or go to heaven. Redemption's purpose is that His redeemed people, who first trusted in Christ, live now to praise and glorify Him.
Les teaches that salvation is not just a fire escape from hell or merely a way to go to heaven. God has paid the price of redemption so that those who first trusted in Christ can be to the praise of His glory in this life, right now. This standing is for those who have believed, not for those who were baptized, joined a church, or did good works, but for those who bring Him glory.
Ephesians 1:12
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
