Why did God pay the price of our redemption?
God paid the price of our redemption so that believers can be to the praise of His glory in this life, right now, not merely to escape hell or gain heaven. Salvation is by His grace, and those who first trusted in Christ are saved to bring Him glory.
Les teaches that God paid the price of our redemption not merely so we could escape hell or go to heaven, but so that we might be to the praise of His glory in this life, right now. It is by His grace, not because anyone deserves it. Those who have first trusted in Christ—not those relying on baptism, church membership, or good works—are saved to bring Him glory.
Ephesians 1:12
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
