Les Feldick Bible Study

What does it mean that we will be spiritual in the resurrection?

In resurrection, the natural body sown in death is raised a spiritual body, no longer flesh and blood but flesh and bone, with the Spirit as its life source. Believers receive eternal life rather than the promised three score and ten, retaining outward features and full knowledge, recognizing loved ones.

Les teaches that the resurrection means the body of flesh must die and then be raised in resurrection power. It is sown a natural body, born of the flesh, but raised a spiritual body. We will not enter eternity in flesh and blood; we will go in flesh and bone, with the Spirit as our life source. Though the natural and spiritual bodies are eons apart, they are alike because we keep all outward features. We will be spiritual in that we have eternal life instead of the promised three score and ten. Les also points out that because Peter, James, and John recognized Moses and Elijah, we will recognize our loved ones, know everyone by name, and have full knowledge.
