What will happen to our resurrection body?
Our vile, corrupt, death-prone body will be changed and fashioned like Christ's glorious body. We will be made in the same likeness as His resurrected body. He could eat fish and honeycomb, pass through walls and ceiling, and travel at the speed of light, and so will we, moving from here to glory in a split second.
Les teaches from verse 21 that the Lord Jesus Christ shall change our vile body—corrupt, prone to death, disease, and suffering—so that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body. He explains that we will be made in the same likeness as Christ's resurrected body. He points out that Christ sat down with the disciples and ate fish and honeycomb, yet He was in that eternal state where He went right through the wall and ceiling. He can travel at the speed of light, and so will we. Les says it will take no time to go from here to glory, a split second almost. He emphasizes that Christ will give us a body fashioned like unto His glorious body according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.
