What does Christ crush when He returns?
At His Second Coming, He crushes the residue of all the Gentile empires and the armies of the Antichrist in Armageddon. The iron, clay, brass, silver, and gold are broken to pieces, become like chaff, and are blown away as He sets up His Kingdom.
Les teaches that after Christ has returned, He crushes the residue of all these Gentile empires and crushes the armies of the Antichrist in Armageddon, totally destroying the planet. Every city is going to fall in a matter of hours. The iron, clay, brass, silver, and gold are broken to pieces together and become like the chaff of the summer threshing floor. Les points out that chaff is light, like a feather the wind can blow away, and it dissipates. The residue of these great Gentile empires will literally be blown away with the Second Coming of Christ and disappear like chaff, with the wind carrying them away. Then the stone that smote the image, which is the returning Christ, becomes a great mountain and fills the whole earth; in other words, He sets up His Kingdom. Les also notes that before bringing in the Jewish resurrected believers and Israel's fulfillment of Old Testament promises, the 75 days will be used to get everything ready for the oncoming Kingdom economy, cleanse the earth of all residue, and it will be beautiful.
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
